When TRU-SPEC® introduced the Tactical Response Combat Shirt as a more comfortable option for wearing under a ballistic vest than a traditional uniform shirt or jacket, the overwhelming acceptance exceeded even our own expectations. Now, TRU-SPEC® is taking that comfort concept to a whole new level with the introduction of the new TRU XTREME™ Combat Shirt, a feature-rich combat shirt manufactured with No Melt, No Drip CORDURA® Baselayer fabric, a super soft 60/40 cotton jersey knit nylon blend that not only breathes and wicks away moisture but also helps protect against flash fires and reduces burn injuries by charring. But that’s not all, because TRU-SPEC® has also introduced the exclusive new TRU XTREME™ vest as a companion cover-up piece to the new TRU XTREME™ Combat shirt. When the mission is accomplished and the body armor comes off, the vest goes on right over the Combat shirt. Because it’s made from the same fabric as the new TRU XTREME™ uniform, it’s comfortable and it coordinates with any of the TRU XTREME™ pants.
